Arttystation booth + blower fan set review

Hello

It is a beginner sensitive to smell.
I mainly use acrylic brush paint, so the smell feels good
I was worried about the smell of bond when assembling the plastic model and the smell of thinner when working with enamel ink lines.

After giving advice from various members among various booths and self-made works,
I bought an Arttystation booth.

The booth should not be large due to the narrow working space, and the noise had to be low because the purpose was to discharge the bond smell from the outside of the office.

The Arttystation booth was perfect for my purpose.
I purchased and installed only the governor separately to adjust the fan speed.

The gray line comes from the motor, and the black line is the power. Connect it according to the governor's instructions.
Since the motor line is not long enough, I opened the booth lid and worked on it.

Luckily, the installation space fits perfectly, and the color adjustment lever fits the perforated seat.

It's a capped look.
I was worried about the heat, but there are a lot of holes in the top of the lid, so it would be okay

I put it on the desk.
The left and right sides of the desk are large, but the depth is very short, and the size is just right.
The blower fan is assembled and the filter is not installed.
I didn't have the acrylic option, and I cut the remaining 5T of foam board and put it in. It's perfect, I think it would be good to make it wider.

This is the default decibel when an office window is opened.

Decibel at maximum fan speed.
This is the same noise as using a hair dryer with strong wind.

If you reduce the speed by half with the governor, it will sound like a white noise in a space about 1 meter away.
I am very satisfied.

The blower fan set is made of iron fasteners that fasten the fan corrugated pipe fan and the corrugated pipe? It includes a power cable with a switch.
It was good that I didn't have to worry about the perforated size and other parts that were the most troublesome when making my own booth.

Some pointed out that it was difficult to loosen the screw,
The fastening was so tight that when I tried to loosen it with electric power, it was just turning away and it was good.
It stopped immediately, and when I tightened and released the handle with a thick screwdriver like a fist driver, it was released fortunately.

When fixing the fan in the perforated place, there are 3 holes, but only 2 are fastened because they do not fit finely, and they are well attached.

Ah! And the most important thing is that you need a rubber mallet when assembling.
You can assemble it by slapping it gently like pounding with a fist, but it was much better with a rubber mallet.

The space where the governor is installed needs a bond, but the space is tight due to the governor, so it is well assembled because it is tight without using a bond.

The suction power odor test was tested with Tamiya putty.
I opened the putty lid in the booth at half the speed governor setting and squeezed it in a tissue paper.
It doesn't smell at all.

I thought I could putty and die from the smell when there was no booth, but with the booth, it’s a completely new world
There is also a spare can spray, which I'll test later.

This was the post of assembling the Arttystation booth. Thank you.
